To all those people who are saying that you can get viruses from LimeWire and not from FrostWire, THEY ARE THE SAME THING!!! FrostWire is a fork of the LimeWire project. They took the source code for LimeWire, made a blue theme and some sweet logos, and put it for a free download. Just use some common sense on LimeWire.
I actually wonder how you got no virus from using LimeWire for years. I got a lot of viruses from LimeWire.. I don’t know about FrostWire, since I uninstalled it right after installing it. But, I would choose FrostWire instead of LimeWire or LimeWire PRO.
Your firewall is what accesses filtering for your prgms and ports…all of your comps are getting connection from the same router, meaning the same firewall…In order for you to get caught they use your Gateway ip address… So it doesnt matter which comp you download songs onto, as long as they recieve connection from the same router…which they do if they are located in the same house…dont act smart unless u truly know what your talking about. and btw..what a waste of $50.00
i bought this shitty computer from my cousin for 50 bucks and i download free songs on limewire… i thought it was pretty smart of me i use that computer solely for downloading songs
LimeWire itself is not illegal. Downloading AND sharing copyrighted material is. Also, the only time you really get viruses from it is when you download those songs that are 100 KB for a 256 KBPS 3 min. song. Well, OBVIOUSLY, it’s not going to be legit. I used LimeWire/FrostWire for years with no virus problems. I don’t use it anymore. Don’t download those “Free” LimeWire PROs because those ARE illegal and most likely have viruses. Get FrostWire for LimeWire Pro for free.
im not trying to be a dick here…but why the hel woldn’t you just go to ‘file’ and then click on ‘import’ in itunes?? i really don’t unerstand this video, imprting files normaly works for me…
i just went to frostware and my computer said it was a rilly dangerous site so now i dont knowwhere to go can someone help me find a free good music site?
it will infect ure pc, i had it on mine, it didnt affect it in the slightest and no viruses were detected, but i recently went to canda on work related issues to show a powerpoint presentation to a companys buyer, i create it on my home pc, with linewire. i loaded it up on the business mans new sony vio and it screwed it up straight away, so yeh, limewire corrupts ure hard drive without you ever finding out, dont evr download it!
